I have been associated with the relocation of professionals for essentially all of my 25-year career in real estate. We ourselves went through that process, with a two-year-old in tow, back in 1979. My husband Richard's profession as an Astronomer brought us to Tucson. I had been raised in New York City, spent time in Boston, and then had lived in Los Angeles and Pasadena over the course of seven years. Frankly, I came here kicking and screaming. What was this cowboy town I had agreed to move to? But then it happened - Tucson stole my heart. Richard and I have had tempting opportunites to move around the country, but nowhere else has been able to compete. We raised our two boys here; they received wonderful educations through the Tucson public schools. Alex was graduated from Harvard and with a Masters in Ancient Chinese History at U.C. Berkely, is currently teaching in China. Nathaniel (who I secretly hoped would do stand-up comedy, and eventually take over Jay Leno's job) is working on a PhD in Immunology at Boston University. We know that Nathaniel is really brilliant because he married Fern Gibbons! They met at the University of Chicago as undergraduates. Fern is working on her PhD at MIT/Woods Hole in Paleo-oceanography.

Fern and Nathaniel made us grandparents on July 22, 2009 with a bouncing baby boy named Zeke!___
